Return of the grey squirrel

It looked for a few months that the cull of grey squirrels in our area was working. Only this week they have returned.
I had a phone call this evening from my cousin in Paris. She painted a picture of a very bleak city in lockdown. Hospitals in Paris have run out of beds and patients are being sent by train and plane to other parts of the country. The temperature is in the mid 20C and they are only allowed out with masks for half an hour a day.She lives in an apartment four floors up and yes several in their family have had the virus.
