Wood anenomes

We went for a walk very early for us; out of the house by 08.10 and walked up the lane to our local Greenway. It was relatively quiet, as I had hoped it would be, only a few cars passing us to interrupt the country ambience. Once on the Greenway we were virtually alone and sauntered, enjoying the views of trees, track and small detail, as we chose.
There were several patches of these beautifully delicate white flowers, but only one which enabled me to take a close up photo.
Once out of the Greenway we walked back home and I sat in our garden for a while, enjoying the bird activity of mainly house sparrows but also a robin and a few tits. Coffee and ginger cookie / flapjack before looking at the Guardian app.
Salad planned now and stuffed peppers for later on. A first taste of rhubarb from the garden also. And lots of relaxing and reading in the sunshine. Lockdown not too bad at the moment.
