Magnolia

Last year I bought a small standard Magnolia and this year it decided to present me with a single flower.

I've realised that the flower only opens properly in the evening so I hung a black background behind it from the fence and took a few snaps.

In other news - kitchen painting continues - I should have all the priming finished tomorrow.  Only problem is I have no topcoat so must attend to that pronto!
