Another house party......

.........virtually from 4 living rooms! A great catch up with the girls whilst drinking gin. We nominally planned to join a virtual gin tasting but decided it was going to be more fun just to talk - and it was such a great catch up. Finished quite late so hence back blipping for the 10th.

Otherwise a bit of an odd bank holiday - didn’t even get out for a walk but did nip to the supermarket which was slightly stressful as there seemed to be no organisation inside and people were randomly shopping and not following any order.

Made some more pesto with slightly old spinach and salad leaves with Parmesan, pine nuts and garlic. So simple and quite delicious! Used some on top of salmon which was then topped with breadcrumbs (made from the last of my homemade loaf) which was baked in the oven for dinner. Plenty pesto left to freeze for another time.

Managed to get some growing herbs so planted those out in a tub and weeded some more of the garden before putting on a summery dress before meeting the girls!
