Allotment fun.

Our allotment project is developing at pace. We built this raised bed out of bits of wood in the garden from pallets and old flower be surrounds. Seth has planted potatoes, carrots, parsnips and today we added chard and broccoli seeds. All very experimental at present but it is restful and satisfying.
We have taken a couple of old camp chairs along to the plot so we can sit and watch the crops grow and take it easy once the plants have established themselves.
Went for a cycle ride today but my usual Box hill route gas been blocked by the police as to any cyclists were congregating. Instead I cycled across Ranmore common and took some photos of the views over Dorking.
Strange Easter break. We had a zoom meeting Good Froday service yesterday and then a " houseparty" meeting with family. In the background we had a friend who is a DJ playing tunes from his kitchen while his wife and daughter boogie the night away.
Grateful today for social media platforms. The joy of the allotment and a lovely cycle ride in the warm spring sunshine.
