To kneel down in the grass

Grateful as I am for a safe place to live and a subsistence income that enables me to pay the rent, which is more than most of the people on earth can count on, I do miss the earth in this time of isolation on the 10th floor. So when I come to Sue’s for the weekend, I love to spend time in the grass in her back yard. She has let the grass, wildflowers, and “weeds” grow as a refuge for pollinators and insects. The dewdrops are a profusion of miraculous globes. Our weekends together make the isolation sweet.

Gratitude also for all who joined me in celebrating Ouija's birthday. She would be astonished, blushing and pleased by the fanfare, as am I.
