Dogwood at Sunset

This is one of our many beautiful dogwood trees. They are extra pretty right now with their blossoms. 
I was trying to catch the evening light shining through the dogwood flower petals and to also catch a starburst. It was harder than I thought. I tried using the onboard flash. That created some interesting effects (extra.)
In the end I opted to spin the wheels to try to find the effect I liked best without using the flash. Whew! What a challenge, especially as dinner was cooling on the table at the time.
