Pylons

This is for everyone who wants to clone out pylons, poles, wires etc from landscapes. For me, they often form an essential part of the landscape in which they are set. The area in which I live is a traditional farming area with mixed farming of dairy, sheep, cattle and arable. But marching through the centuries old field system are large and small pylons and electricity poles, along with more recent wind turbines for individual farms and to feed into the grid. This row of pylons supply what remains of the steelworks on Stocksbridge so they are a relatively recent part of the industrial heritage of the area. The remains of the old water mills and forges are still evident and converted into houses in many cases. For me the architecture of the pylons has its own grandeur and place.
