A sibling Zoom meeting, and then I did my walk before the high cloud covered the sun. I'm becoming familiar with these footpaths now and rarely have to double check with the map.

After lunch I was in the garden all afternoon, and wore myself out getting the veg patch almost done - only a little bit more.  It's not just a matter of digging, I remove the grass from a strip and pile it up, then bury a section of turf beneath each spadeful of mud. But the soil is so solid that I have to slice and chop until each lump is broken up. I'll be glad when it's finished.
