Crow man and climber

What is the opposite of a scarecrow? I'm looking for a word to describe a man with a camera and a bag of bread crumbs who is recognised and trusted by the crows on Arthur's Seat.

The man had patience, and I suspect he got several very good photos of the carrion crows, jackdaws and hooded crows which came in to eat his crumbs.

The climber on the crag I have less respect for. He wore a helmet and chose only the accessible routes on the old dry dam, but seriously, is this the time to risk a broken leg in an area where they'd need a helicopter to get him out. I'm all for freedom and self expression, but not in the middle of a pandemic when he could easily just go for a walk or borrow a bike.
