Afternoon sun on snow.

Snow everywhere!

Went sledging with the kids as soon as we got up then stomped back through the snow to get Lewis changed for rugby training.

A lovely walk around Loch Leven whilst he trained. The sun came out and it was just beautiful. Met a man on Nordic skis and was very jealous!

The weather rapidly started to close in and clouds began to gather...

On the way home I spotted the sun shining through the clouds and desperately tried to find a spot to park.

Eventually found a spot in the car park of a closed down hotel. Trouble was, the car park had not been cleared....

Leapt out of car and took some shots. Poor Lewis was left in the car wondering if he was ever going to get home for a shower and out on time for the birthday party he was going to.

Time constraints meant no faffing with filters etc.

Raced back to the car and discovered we were stuck!!

Years of farm animal practice stood me in good stead as I used gears, revs and wheel angles to get us out...

The day got even more manic with an emergency operation before our Burns Supper for French neighbours.

All was well after a glass of wine!
