For Julia and Tom

The day that would have been Julia and Tom's wedding, featured on Blip as a Covid Story (written up by Graham), which indeed it was. Instead, they have now been married for over three weeks, and are in isolation together, in a flat in Manchester, except when Julia has to work as a midwife for the NHS.

Forget-me-nots are for them, and their blue-themed wedding that was. Mike and I went for our walk, wanting to capture the bluebells in Rectory Park, but loved these tiny beauties.

Gratefuls:
- that they managed to get married before the lockdown
- listening to rain splattering our attic window in the night
- that it's raining well in the Alentejo; friends there say the countryside is an explosion of colours - and that, so far, Mourão is free of the virus
