Stinkbug on a Prickly Pear

On yesterday's walk we found a huge field of prickly pear. My brother in law said that if we cut off one of the ears we could put it in damp soil and start a new plant. I put the ear in some soil in a cup in the kitchen window. This afternoon my grandson noticed the stink bug on it. He was pretty excited to see it close up.
