contemplating...

...snowfall

went to bed with it snowing - woke up to same - and the boo on high alert - that birds were flocking - to snow covered bird feeders - oh my - would they be able to - get their beaks through - the fluffy white stuff - to the seed? - sure enough

and then - even though taken through - impossibly dirty windows - into the high white glare - of snow as a backdrop - i managed to capture these - 2 adorable house finches - a common couple to - visit my lowly cafe - contemplating the snowfall - over the side of the balcony - for a very brief moment - before they took off in flight - to wherever they go - after snacking and calling it...
