Mental Health

I've not had a good day.  Just have to accept it and bounce back tomorrow.

Mental health is going to be a massive issue during this pandemic and lock down and particularly for those who are going to have to shield and have no escape with a daily walk.  We've come a long way in this country dealing with mental health, but we also have a long way to go.  Most senior management these days are aware of the signs and how they need to respond, so it is not appropriate to say "oh well, chin up."  We have a way to go.

Also I'd like to add that whilst I understand the importance of remaining social, although at a distance, at this time, just be mindful that is not always possible in some communities or that people do not want to be forced to be social.  And other people need to be considerate as well, playing loud music which you enjoy your garden, doesn't mean the rest of the neighbourhood appreciates it and it could affect their mental health.  COVID-19 is certainly showing those that have community spirit and those that don't.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Waking up
