The new leaves on the trees have suddenly made Streatham Common vibrantly green. We enjoyed the trees wearing their new outfits. The parakeets are now even harder to see in their camouflaged heights but they make such a noise that they can't remain hidden.

The saxophonist was practising again the wooded grove.

It was lovely to see the sun again today and I made trips to warm up outside when it got too chilly indoors. We're reluctant to put on the heating when it's warm outside, but it's perishing indoors. I'm often wearing three jumpers, a scarf and some gloves, which might look odd on video calls except my manager was similarly attired this afternoon.

A coal tit was helping itself to Juno's fur this morning (see extra) and a bee (not sure what type) was very interested in the outside drain the dishwasher pipe skooshes out into. I should have a word that it's not a great place to set up home. Juno was extremely interested in its deep buzz. I've told him that chasing bees is not a good idea for sensitive paws.
