Day 22 – Wood Pigeon

This is the only picture I took all day and came after I tried to get a blip of 2 Carrion Crows and a Jackdaw on the bird feeder. Sadly a ‘normal’ pigeon saw me and scared them away. As I went into the garden a bit later the Wood Pigeon seemed to stand on its tip toes to see if I was to be trusted. We then spent some time raising slabs at the front to remove Dandelions and of course this took longer than we thought so that put paid to further photography.

This piece from the Guardian is a bit depressing.
