Osteospermum

Osteospermum sounds more like a disease than a lovely bright daisy flower. I bought these the year before last, thinking they were annuals, but they have just gone on and on, flowering through two winters and last summer. They are getting a bit straggly now, perhaps I should have cut them back, but then I probably wouldn’t have had this magnificent display.
In fear and trepidation I cut Normous’ hair today. It looks quite reasonable, and he seems happy with it. We used to have clippers but they have disappeared, so it was a kitchen scissors job.
