Manzano means apple tree

Yes, it snowed here two days ago!  And now it's 65 degrees.

Rio Grande River with Manzano Mts. about 48 kilometers SE.  Out for my daily cycling, I decided to go over the bridge to the west bank of the Rio Grande.  I thought I would ride the trail downstream. Just one problem: the trail is nothing but a narrow dirt path through the bosque.  Even though I ride a hybrid, and my bike likes adventures, it was very difficult going.  

Plus, I saw a troll, but that's another story and no photographs. He said the meanest things!
