Sing Out, Louise!

Definitely a summer day in April! Had our nice morning walk, then a very brief jaunt to the Farmers' Market to get some salmon, oranges  and the first strawberries of the year. Vendors and customers alike are getting the hang of it--lanes clearly roped off, x marks the spot, lots of masks, and no handling of produce. They had senior half-hour and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. As easy as it was, it's still harrowing. The worst part is bringing the stuff home. Did someone touch each one of those strawberries?

There's talk now of reopening this or that, ending this or that, moving on. What would it take to make you go to a movie again? a concert? I don't even like the idea of getting take-out--it implies a  level of trust for every single person who came in contact with the food, and their housemates. I may be a little dark today. I spent a good part of last night dreaming about losing my son as a three year old in an enormous airport, looking, running, almost finding. Too many clues and too many people. In spite of all that frustration, it was so nice to see him as a grinning curly haired little boy, but I would have preferred a full night's sleep.
