Staying busy

We have an invitation to an evening Wedding reception - before the end of the month! I started this sampler as a wedding gift, suspecting I might be late in getting it finished. However the wedding has had to be rescheduled, the new date is in October. I really feel for D & G, they have been planning their special day for some time, and their original date had special significance for them. I am now toying with the idea of having 2 dates on the sampler, the original date and the new one - any thoughts?
