Pear tree blossom

Often forget trees when we think about spring flowers and when we do it’s often only cherry tree blossom that gets a mention. Well tonight on my inspection of my back garden I was drawn to this miniature pear tree, which after the last few days of dry bright weather, has burst into bloom and is brightening up a dark back border. The intricacy of individual flowers that make up the blossom is truly beautiful.
