Tulip

Yet another dry sunny day.  I continued trying to restore the patio to something like it was when I laid it.  Unfortunately when we designed it gravel features quite a lot.   The floods have deposited silt among the gravel to an extent that it now looks more like soil then gravel.  So I am lifting the gravel, riddling it to get the soil out, then rinsing.  It will all eventually go back in place.

The blip os a detail of one of the little tulips which are flowering.  This is about half the size of a "normal" tulip flower.  It doesn't show quite so much in the shot but the style is a striking turquoise colour in reality.
