I know it's been a long while since I bought one, but when did grapefruit change their colour?

Wandering around Aldi the other night I thought I'd treat my self to one, but couldn't see them. "That's the right size, but surely it's an orange..." Almost had to find the glasses to read the label. Suspect the other shoppers were wondering what that loon was playing at, holding it up to the light and squinting at it. Perhaps expecting me to break out into, "Alas, poor Yorick!"

I'm looking forward to it. But not tonight.
