My first robin of the year

Well there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow morning but I don’t think it stands a chance any longer. Spring is coming to this field.

The ice on the yard is mostly gone and the mud is starting to dry. The farmers are getting twitchy, trying to prep the equipment in the cold.

They need it to be a good year here. It’s been four bad years. At least most of these guys here don’t have to take off last years crop still, like so many around do.

Anyway, I saw my first robin of the year today walking home for supper. That was fun and I tried to get it in a blip but I wasn’t fast enough.
