Flower Friday

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of flower blips around at the moment.  Being in lockdown restricts your options somewhat, still it is nice to see something growing free outside without the thought-police about to pounce telling them that you can't display that sort of colour or they are too close to each other during the crisis!

So here is my contribution to Flower Friday.  We have a lot of flags, or iris, coming up in our front garden, but this one must have snuck round the back as it is in the back garden. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.

It's just started to rain, the first we've seen for some days.  Luckily I've had my mandatory walk for today. In Shottery what can only be described as a long tale has been chalked along the pavement.  A child's story of a slug who could do clever things such as jump and walk backwards. Very skilfully the story finishes with the words ``was this the end of the road?" and points to a council Road Closed sign.  The story was far too long to capture in one shot so I took a couple of shots, one showing the length, though possibly not the whole length to the start of the story. Anyway it's in the extras.
