Sadly rundown.

This is the remains of an allotment that's not been tended to for years, and as the Military camp is due to close in the future I don't suppose it will be again. Extra is taken to the right of this, and I think speaks volumes - can imagine someone sitting there admiring their mornings/evenings work, flask of tea in hand.

So, today I've painted the rest of the upstairs doors! Once the bathroom door had been spruced up the others looked a bit 'yellow'. Good job done that I'm pleased I wasn't planning on doing .... But in these strange days, what else would I find to do?

Poor Hayley should have been in Turkey at the moment. The only opportunity for a 'in term time' holiday (She's a secondary school teacher). The first half of her maternity leave was spent confined to indoors because of our constantly wet winter, and the second half she's confined to home because of COVID19. Gutted for her, and we have no idea when we'll be able to see them. Reggie is growing up fast, and we're missing so much of his baby time. But we thank our lucky stars so far as we have been well, and so many are suffering. We now worry as we await the arrival of Jodie's baby due in a month. The Government announced another 3 weeks in lockdown and then still uncertainty on where we'll go from there.
