Mosaic virus, woke Dad and aphids

My courgettes have mosaic virus. My dahlias have aphids. According to the internet only female blackbirds incubate the eggs. I beg to differ, I watched Charlie- the male blackbird- hopping on to the nest and sitting on the eggs. Because he is black it is very hard to see him but if you look carefully you can see his yellow beak.
