Positive

.... One of my favourite upsides of lockdown (which to be honest is a short list, but this is a special one to me...) is that every night we have read together at bedtime. She's going through books so quickly in this time, I have lost count of how many. She's writing a list. Anyway, consequently, I have enjoyed time in Harry Potter, matilda, Enid Blyton, Jacqueline Wilson, a random new book about a boy who likes monkeys... Others... and it's been really special. In normal life, I read regularly with her, but not every night and not always for a great length of time.

Our day had lots of bassooning, some baking. Delivery of her first ever beano comic. Planting little seed sets she'd been given. A movie, a couple of series episodes. A dance class. Lots of bits but lots of fun. Mixed in with a rather needy/clingy Katie. Come exercise time late afternoon, she very definitely needed to be properly outside, not just in the garden. We had some jobs to do round a few houses so she enjoyed that we got a conversation from the end of a drive. And laughed as we passed school... She's very much not missing school!
