Venturing out

Weekly trip to the supermarket - queuing in the rain wasn’t the most fun and I got really cold. Aside from the concerns about getting too close, shopping is quite nice as they are limiting the numbers allowed in! It’s a 2 hour round trip at the moment, so is a bit of an event!

Aside from that, we’ve barely left the house. The husband has knocked down a pillar that was in front of a window, boys have played, made things, watched tv and generally had a chilled day. Somehow it’s kind of all slipped by.

Today I’m grateful for:
Lunchtime braii, mostly cooked by the youngest (with supervision!)
Lovely long call with Gogo this morning and then evening call with my Uncle, feeling very connected to many continents!
Cuddles with the youngest to help him get to sleep this evening.
