Male and Female Mallards

Today it is cold although dry at the moment the sky looks a uniform dull grey.

I chose these male and female Mallards who were swimming on our pond lake over by our perimetre fence so taken quite a long way away. I almost chose Florence playing outside in one of our fruit trees. Despite the heavy rain and higher temperatures yesterday, I still found enough snow in the garden to make some snowballs.
