Plainfield Rail Trail ....

... looking back.

After lunch today we went out to get in some nature therapy and the Plainfield Rail trail was our destination.  As well as a lot of other folks, too.  I guess after yesterday's cold temperatures that probably kept a lot of people indoors … everyone had the same idea as us.

We did the usual when we first arrived at the rail trail … we put down some peanuts and seeds for the chipmunks and then started on our walk.  We didn't see the chippy until our return to the car.  He was there waiting for us and wanted more peanuts and seeds!

Unfortunately we encountered lots of people on the trail walking ... including this pair of what I assume are sisters.  Thankfully, R & I were both wearing masks to protect ourselves .... and the other fellow walkers.

After leaving the rail trail we had to stop at the grocery to pick up whatever was available ... and we made out pretty well today. Then we returned home for the rest of the evening.  I made taco pizza for supper that turned out pretty good! We had some left over taco meat from the other day and I put this on a pre-made pizza as well as fresh chopped tomato, black olives and extra cheese! Yum!
