Wayfaring Tree

The colours in the hedgerows are bursting forth.  Last week this was in tight bud and there were very few leaves showing and now all the hedges are adorned in fresh spring green and blossom.  This is a showy plant growing in the hedge and delivers these wonderful robust heads of white flowers followed by lovely berries.  I couldn't resist sharing it with you.
Extra is a piece of land with young apple trees which we walk past... the light was lovely this evening
