Over the Hills .....

but not very far away. Just ten minutes in the car to walk for two hours, I think that's permitted under the new interpretation of the rules. I was hoping that the bluebells would be out, but they are only just starting to bloom. There was plenty of wild garlic, we brought some back.  And there was gorse along the side of the track, smelling deliciously of coconut. Apparently you can use the flowers in salad. You'd have to be careful while gathering them, the thorns are pretty sharp.

It was a lovely day, sunny, windy and warrm. We saw three people and three dogs. 

C sent some pictures of the children's fundraising effort. They sorted out the toys they have outgrown and arranged them on the front garden wall with notices asking for donations to a local charity for the homeless in exchange for a toy. They made £71! There's a shot in the extras.
