Not Black But Still Beautiful

The tulips that I've blipped before have finally shown their true colour.  Perhaps I remembered wrong - am rubbish at labelling plants.  But who cares, they are a gorgeous colour and more importantly, have survived.

A garden day again - we've made another small bed for veggies out of old bricks and breeze blocks.  We're short of good soil but found that all the ground elder and other garden weeds / waste that were dumped at the bottom of the garden over the years have turned into reasonable compost.  I didn't put them in our actual compost bins as thought it was too risky but they seem to have broken down completely.  M has made a protective cover (against deer, birds, cat using as a toilet etc) out of an old guinea pig run.
