Lambing Sunset

Had such a good day, walked up Beinn Duill to check out the head rocks.  You can see for miles, difficult to do it justice with a photo.  Back at the cottage I saw a ewe giving birth, a first for me.  Had a good chat with C when she came to pick up some fire extinguishers for servicing and mentioned the lamb, the twin was meant to appear not too long afterwards.  However after a trip to Dervaig to get some toothpaste and one or two other things we'd forgotten to bring, the ewe was looking like she was struggling so messaged C.  S came along shortly and with the help of his lovely sheepdog caught the ewe and the lamb and popped them into his lamb ambulance to take back to the farmhouse.  We later heard it was a good call, both ewe and lambs doing well, phew!  And to cap off the day we had the most fantastic sunset.   Have included extras.
