Explosion of new growth

A spot of time lapse photography on these emerging horse chestnut leaves would be amazing to see. 
I think that is my favourite stage when the leaves are still soft and a beautiful vibrant lime green.

Although it has been very sunny today it has also been very windy. I had my lunch outside but I needed to keep my fleece on! 

My camellia is beginning to look rather tired and the remaining flowers have touches of brown on the edges of the petals ..... the bush has been magnificent but I'm afraid that's it till next year.
