Trapped

Between on-line meetings I went out into the garden to get a vitamin D top up.

On the glass on the back door this little wasp was trying to get back out. It didn’t realise that the other half of the door was open. It kept climbing up to the top, falling back down to the bottom, and then starting the whole process upwards again.

I have read that there are hundreds of solitary wasp species, some of them minute, Very different to the large stinging wasps we are more familiar with. This one was small, so I am quite pleased this image is a reasonable one.

Eventually the wasp fell to the floor, turned left, flew and found the way out. Which we will all do in time.

Oh dear. I’m having a Robert the Bruce moment.
