Day 30 – Colinton Railway Tunnel

We decided to cycle up to Colinton to have a look at the murals that are being painted in the disused railway tunnel by Chris Rutterford and team. It was started last year, stopped for the winter and should have started again this spring, but has obviously not, thanks to Covid-19. What has been completed is very colourful, and has some panels created by local school kids in the parts of the tunnel where the walls are very wet. The blip is a wide view of the scene at the station with panels created individually (it’s damp there) and the extra a ‘self portrait’ of Chris Rutterford and his dug. I’ve tagged the blip as Wide Wednesday as it’s definitely wide, but not on this week’s theme of weather.
Best Large.
