Stùc a' Chroin

The weather forecast was good again so we decided to go up the Corbett, Meall na Fearna, from Glen Artney. It was pleasant weather with enough of a breeze to stop you getting too hot, but good conditions for shorts again. After the relatively easy days on Mount Keen and Ben Lomond earlier this week as both hills had good tracks, today’s walking was without paths once we left the access tracks. It was very dry underfoot, so I didn’t get damp feet despite wearing light shoes. It was much hazier than yesterday so views weren’t as far ranging but still good. The blip is taken on the way down looking up the Allt an Dubh Choirein to Stùc a' Chroin. The extra is part of a large herd of Red Deer we saw on the way down.

Best on black.
