Hot and Bothered

Today most of the birds were fine but this one had a look of total exhaustion - Breathing through the beak is the avian version of panting and fluffing out feathers  after being in water may help but by the looks of it nothing did .It was sweltering .I kept my eye on it and eventually it flew to a willow  tree..What with shrivelled flowers and panting birds summer is not so wonderful .Shops have started opening .ie) Tchibo and the Danish bedding shop ..
