This Is Only An Intermission...

And I can’t wait for the second feature to begin!

Remember when there were always two movies at the theater? And it never seemed to matter when you went in? And the movies were longer than the credits?  

Today’s excitement was a little trip to the pharmacy to pick up an Even-Up Leveler—it’s a sort of thick rubber sandal that straps on to the non-booted foot to level everything up. I don’t know why they don’t just include one with the boot—it makes a huge difference in walking. You are much more balanced. It was another local store that graciously took orders and payment over the phone. The woman even came out to the car to fit it over my shoe! 

And tonight began the NFL draft process, which will decide the rest of my grandson’s life. Unfortunately we do not have cable service of any kind so we couldn’t watch it. There was a family zoom, but everyone there had their own tvs, so the zoom shots were all of people eating pizza. Tomorrow will most likely be his big day. Maybe we’ll figure something out by then.
