Acers in Spring

Many think that Acers are an autumn plant when their leaves begin to senescence and they develop vibrant autumn colours. However, they also put on a magnificent show in the spring as their buds burst and leaves develop. These are the Acers in my back garden and I rate their colourful spring show every bid as good, and more long lasting, than the one they put on in the autumn.
