Flowering Cherry Trees

The flowering cherry trees at the edge of the Haws’ Park in Bridge of Allan are looking magnificent in tonight’s evening sunshine. Although it’s nearly 19:00 it’s still 18C and there is not a cloud in the sky. Planting of the cherries is alternate wild white and cultivated double pink. Reminds me of how the cherry trees used to look like in the Memorial Park and well worth a view on your daily out of home exercise (walk, job, run, cycle) should you stay nearby. It’s such a pity that the display will only last a week or two as such a vista is so peaceful and calming in these uncertain times.
