Scorchio

Today was the first truly warm day of the year so I took a half day and spent the afternoon pottering about sowing seeds and enjoying the sunshine. The first time I’ve had to put sun cream on in a long while. The first green leaves have just broken out on our beech hedge - hurrah! Always a momentous occasion as our garden is just so ‘brown’ over Winter.

We had our first bbq of the season consisting of marinaded pork belly and homemade lemon and fennel pork burgers.

This evening was spent mainly back on zoom catching up with some friends. I’m so not looking at my laptop again until Monday morning now - getting headaches from all these lengthy chats.
