First roses of the year

I watched an Art Wolfe class this morning, than worked in another class, the section was flat lays, which I don't like to do.  I spent more time that I usually would since well, there is no where else to go right now.  I didn't like the results of all the work so while I was out filling the bird feeders I cut the first roses of the year and layed them on the deck took a photo and I think I liked it better than the one I worked on far longer.  Since I have so many extras I will put the one I worked on in the Extra photos.
