They Are Back

Another glorious autumn day with sunshine and warm temperatures.  The estuary was like glass.  We went for a walk around the streets as a change from the hill.  The  birds who visit my garden now have a new feeding post.  It is dug into a area of weeds natural area beside a lemon tree so they can drop seeds and make a mess and I can still get close enough for a photo.  While waiting for some action a group of wax-eyes flew in.  They had a look at the Feijoa I had put on the wands but it wasn't to their liking.  I will buy them some yellow kiwi fruit which is their favourite.  This is heavily cropped and the extra is the sparrows enjoying the new position of their seed plate.
