Golden

We’ve had several evening walks, when the light is golden and it’s been a real pleasure. Today we walked through Goldings (main blip), through the tunnel and up via the wood to Bengeo where I had some more leaflet dropping to do.

Earlier in the day we’d joked about going ‘out out’. We went to B&Q (very exciting) which has reopened. We wanted plants for the garden. Was it essential shopping? No, not really. But the store was open and we maintained social distancing, the trolley was cleaned and we washed our hands before and afterwards. If we are only supposed to do absolutely essential shopping then we shouldn’t have gone, but on the basis that the store was allowed to be open, with social distancing and hygiene procedures in place, we decided it was ok. We got there before the rush and bought a trolley full of plants.
