Day 33 - Lockdown Walk

We got up early!! Really!
The plan was to leave the house at 8 am and walk into the city centre to see how it is under lockdown.
We managed to leave at 8:30am and it was not me who was not ready :).
We walked all the way into the city centre. It was chilly in the morning.
The city was strange. Just a few people around. Almost all shops closed apart from Boots and the likes.
There were a few joggers around, apparently the city is quieter than the parks haha!
We found some more buckwheat four at Holland an Barrett for our galette experiments.
We did a huge round and were home about 4 hours later and were a bit knackered.
I had prepared new galette batter last night and watched felt 20 You Tube videos about how to make the galettes - some where french documentaries from the 70-ies or 80-ies!!!!
So we braved it again for brunch.
And - huge success!! e managed to make really good galettes!!! I must have gotten the dough right this time.
So we indulged in too many galettes!
A bit later in the afternoon we went for an ice cream in the sun -  The ice cream came out of our freezer of course .....
Then we chilled on the couch for a few hours, before we had a bottle of wine and more galettes .....
It was a fabulous day and we were tied early!!

More Glasgow lockdown in the extras!
