Holly Blue

(Celastrina argiolus)

With a wingspan just over an inch,
This Holly Blue won't make you flinch.
If it flew in your face
It might tickle like lace
That had blown in the wind, at a pinch.

This morning this tiny butterfly landed in our back garden so I had the chance to get a decent shot of it. Very chuffed.

Huge thanks for all the lerve you awarded my yesterblipped sunbathing banana - putting her on the popular pages. So glad to have given you a chuckle.

This day last year we were flying from Perth to Adelaide. Glad we went when we did and didn't leave it 'till next year'! Happy memories.
